As one of the biggest acts around, executives from other entertainment industries recognized the value in DAI's good will and product. Here is a non-exhaustive list of instances where DAI has been tapped for use in other mediums. For a full list, containing more television series and commercials, head to Wikipedia or Waftf's Commercialized Songs.
animanga & games
NANA. NANA started as shoujo graphic novel series written and illustrated by Ai yazawa. It has been adapted into an animated series, two live action films, and a couple video games. The dramatic storyline essentially revolves around the complicated relations between those involved in two j-rock bands. The story's focus on music brought in many talented jpop/jrock artists, such as OLIVIA, Anna Tsuchiya, Ai Otsuka, Kaela Kimura, ZONE, Mika Nakajima, and Yuna Ito. Do As Infinity contributed to a NANA tribute album in the style of the series fictional band, Black Stones (which suits DAI pretty well). Check it out: "I miss you?" by Do As Infinity for BLACK STONES from the Love for NANA ~ Only 1 Tribute album.
Inuyasha. It's hard to describe DAI without mentioning Inuyasha, the long-running shounen animanga series by Rumiko Takahashi. The story revolves around an almost never-ending journey of a rag-tag team traveling through a mythical version of feudal Japan. For many fans, including this writer, Inuyasha provided the introduction to Do As Infinity's music. DAI did three theme songs for Inuyasha before their break-up, and one final theme song for the series' conclusion after the band's reunion. Check it out: the entire "Kimi na Inai Mirai" (A Future Without You) single, which compliles all four themes.
Tales of Legendia. Tales of Legendia was a "sword & sorcery"-type role-playing video game on the Playstation2. It was released both in Japan and North America during the mid 2000s. The Tales of game franchise is a huge universe of RPG games, like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. The franchise is old and respected. Do As Infinity provided the opening song for Legendia, which is one of the mothership (main) titles in the Tales legacy. Check it out: "Tao" by Do As Infinity from the "Tao" single, the band's 20th and last single before their break-up.
professional sports
Kyotei BOAT RACE. Just as it sounds, this is a Japanese public sports event involving hydroplane boats racing laps around a large man-made lake-stadium. Apparently, it is quite the popular spectator sport in various countries and one of the few that the Japanese government allows a large betting system for. Do As Infinity provided two theme songs for the sport's 2010 campaign, "Battle of 6/BOAT RACE". Check it out: "1/100" and "Everything Will Be All Right" by Do As Infinity from the "∞2" single.
WOWOW UEFA Soccer. Do As Infinity provided the theme song (and this site's namesake!) for a sports show's coverage of the Union of European Football Association's (UEFA) football/soccer season in 2002. Tomiko and Ryo also show up in a spiffy video featuring the song where they're kicking around a soccer ball and being interviewed at the field. Check it out: "One or Eight" by Do As Infinity from the "Shinjitsu no Uta" single and "True Song" album.

Kirin Beer CM. An awesome find by members of the DAIForum. In March 2011, Tomiko sang in a commercial for the tasty and reknown Kirin beer brand. She sings a parody of an old song, Atarashi wo Yobu Otoko, with Tachi Hiroshi and the Honkaku Band. It's not too significant - but for fans, it is nice to see Ban-chan looking bright, getting noticed, and having fun collaborating with others.
